For many rural communities, access to quality education remains a challenge to date. Most quality educational institutions are far away or have become entirely unaffordable for the average family in Uganda.

With the opening of AsOne Nursery & Primary School — Idudi, came a number of transformative opportunities for the community. For Namwase Rose, a proud and happy mom at AsOne, it was a very exciting time for her and her daughter's education. 

"There weren't as many good schools nearby before,  so when this school opened, I was very happy and glad the school was in my neighborhood. The teachers are so good to my daughter and teach her lots of things. They care about the kids and even us parents, and we all get along well." 

Ms. Rose sees a significant difference in her daughter compared to children at other schools.

"She's learning so much and has a bright future ahead, I know she'll grow up to do something great for our community!"
