2024 Year in Review

January

Thanks to your generous investment, we proudly welcomed over 120 students to AsOne High School in Kaberamaido and over 280 students to AsOne Nursery & Primary School in Mayuge. This year, AsOne is home to over 2,500 students across six campuses.

February

AsOne officially commenced construction in Serere and Luuka Districts, marking a significant step towards enhancing access to quality education and healthcare in these communities. The Nursery & Primary School and Health Center in each district, will open in 2025.

March

We launched AsOne Tailoring Center in Idudi, where we’re proudly crafting uniforms for over 2,500 students, including new enrollees. Our dedicated team is hard at work, producing more than 6,000 pieces, including skirts, shirts, shorts, sportswear, and socks—well beyond our initial expectations.

April

AsOne has trained 150 Village Based Advisors (VBAs) supporting over 25,000 farmers across five districts. Farmers are seeing impressive crop growth through new technologies in demo gardens. Alongside improved farming, AsOne's schools, vocational centers, and health facilities are helping boost income and well-being in these communities.

May

We were grateful to have hosted teams from Dakota Wesleyan University, Valor Christian High School, Sioux Falls Christian Schools, and an Education Team. These partnerships support our Ugandan team’s work and help foster mutual learning, cross-cultural connections, and transformation through God’s global story.

June

AsOne Nursery & Primary School – Idudi is making a difference by providing affordable, high-quality education. For Namwase Rose, a grateful mother, the school’s establishment means her daughter can now receive an exceptional education right in their own community.

July

AsOne’s impact is driven by our dedicated team of over 320 staff across Uganda. From teachers and doctors to business leaders and farmers, they work tirelessly to empower their communities through education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and agriculture. Our passionate, youthful team is at the heart of our mission.

August

AsOne Grain Millers launched in Mayuge, providing local farmers with fair market prices for their crops. This business enhances produce quality and supplies it to the community and AsOne Schools, while milling byproducts are used as chicken feed at AsOne Farms. The facility is now fully operational.

September

We celebrated the success of five established communities! Our U.S. and Uganda Boards, leadership teams, and key partners came together to reaffirm our commitment to Christ-centered, sustainable, and transformative solutions for rural Uganda.
